This week, we welcome a New Year into our lives. This is a good time for us to see what we need to let go of, what is to be kept and improved, and what we wish to bring into our lives. For me this is a time for quiet contemplation, setting and writing ones goals, meditation and relaxation.
What will the new year bring for you?
Will you challenge yourself to new heights? Will you ignore the fear that is so pervasive in our world today? Will you go with certainty or will you question every thought and action? A new year challenges us all, gives us a chance to wipe the slate and start again. My wish for you is to follow your heart, be open to receive and trust that you have all the answers.
“Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!
This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!”
