This past week after watching the Republican convention, it seems from my perspective a whole lotta people energized over the McCain/Palin ticket and then the bantering started about Palin not having experience enough to be VP.

What does experience mean? Apparently it means quite a bit in corporate America who is willing to pay company executives very well for their experience and trust to lead a company. We entrust only the highest ranked military personnel to manage our countries armed services. When we interview for jobs mid and upper level mostly, in addition to educational qualifications we ask prospective employees what experience they have? Let’s get away from thinking about work experience, when we hire a day care provider we want to know what experience they have – right?

What are our values and how much do we value experience? What I hear the majority saying is that experience does matter

So the question that we will all be asking over the next 60 days is, does Obama have enough experience to be President of the United States? and does Palin have experience to be VP?

Some people say the election is about ideology and some say it is about experience, what will you decide?
